"Misty Eyed"

So, what about this picture made me misty eyed? This was Parker's first fast food trip. Again, why does that make a Mom teary eyed? It was a sign to me that my baby is growing up! It feels like a big step to be able to feed him something from wherever we go. I don't have to pack him food in the diaper bag? Really? Isn't he too little?
The same day as Parker's first-fast-food-trip he swung in the baby swings for the first time. I don't know why we waited so long for that, but Parker could take it or leave it. Wasn't too impressed.
(No lectures on feeding my baby fast food! I don't plan to do it frequently! That would mess up all the good I did nursing him for a year : )
*Oh yeah and I'm glad you all got a kick out of my previous post. Of course, except for you, Staci.

I think he looks big enough to eat whatever he wants. He is so cute. I don't blame you for getting misty eyed at this milestone of solid food. They grow way to fast.

Nice! Chick-Fil-A...that was the first fast food we gave Autumn too. She loved it so much we had a nugget tray at her 1st birthday. My little nephew is all grown up!

Oh yeah, by the way, when I was on my computer- I couldn't see that it was a video- it was just blank. Sorry missy!

How ironic his first fast food was Chick Fil A. That's where you and April worked when we first moved to Texas. The Circle of Life... is fast food at Chick Fil A. A good choice by the way where fast food is concerned.

Wow - he is a year already? Dang! I'm so impressed that you kept up the nursing for a full year! I finished w/ Randy after 8 1/2 months... and was SO GLAD for the freedom! Of course, I don't exactly enjoy paying an arm & a leg for formula but I think it was the right time for us to be done. :)
