You are Invited!

For those who may not have heard yet I took a new job with Investing Mentors as an instructor for investing.

Tomorrow night at 7 pm will be my first presentation. Because the company is brand new the seminar is for family and friends and were just looking for feedback on the material, its presentation and any other helpful insight.

It will be about 90 minutes long and instructional for any level investor. If that sounds interesting, PLEASE COME! No sales pitch just sit back and provide feedback at the end! If you can think of someone else that enjoy coming then bring them! The more brains to pick the better! This will be our only feedback seminar, before we go public in July.

It's at the Marriott off Southern and Alma School in west Mesa, AZ. Just east of the Bank of America tower. Tomorrow June 30th ay 7 pm. Call me if you get lost or have any questions! Thanks for all the Support!

Another Noteworthy

Our baby turned 1!

For his birthday we had a water party.
I had a really good time but of course we were celebrating my baby.

We had a buffet of Parker's favorite foods complete with a beach ball cake to fit the occasion. It may not look that appetizing but it was delicious. White chocolate mouse with rasberries (parker's favorite of course).
This is about as climatic as his first cake got. He wasn't all that interested.
I can't believe I have a toddler. So many things are shocking me lately. Like, how he's totally thinned out (although he looks pretty "healthy" to the rest of the world, I'm wondering where his chubby little baby face went). Another thing that surprises me is why he learned to walk in Hawaii, but will hardly take a step here at home. He also displayed his first word and sign together recently. Not surprisingly it was "eat". (He's a very good eater. Likes EVERYTHING except any sort of pasta.) He also really likes books, and has always enjoyed staring at the pictures, and now he looks at them and "babbles" a story. Yesterday he put the phone up to his ear, although I'm wondering where he learned that because we text a lot. His latest craze is fitting objects inside one another. Whether its dumping things out, putting them in, stacking, or fitting. I guess he's moved past the bang, shake, and throw and is moving up in fine motor skills.

Noteworthy

We're home from Hawaii!! You can tell we had a good time because Parker and I both slept in until 11:00! (and Parker still has sand in his ears) I've got some great pictures I want to share, but I feel there are some other noteworthy posts that need to happen first. Like this one:

MARK GRADUATED!

To tell the complete truth, Mark has a few more classes to finish up this summer. But when you graduate in the summer, they allow you to participate in May graduation, since there is no summer one. Its taken him so long, and he's worked so hard, I was really glad he decided to walk. And of course, we got to hear our candidate of choice at the commencement. But you all know what he looks like, I don't need to post his picture. Another tid bit, Hugh Downs was the key note at his convocation. Pretty cool.)

Mark's parents came from California for the convocation.
His little brother came too, but I don't have a picture of him. Brent, where were you?

Mark learned economic theory; Parker learned there's a hole in his head:

Congratulations Baby! Now the real test: the job hunt. Good Luck...
