Did anyone else cry while reading about the quake in Haiti? I've been home with a sick Parker the last few days so its given me time to read about what's going on. I didn't hear about it till this morning and the first article I read made me cry. Over 100,000 lives?? Its just so sad that such a "humble" nation has to endure something like this.
We don't have a tv, and I'm glad we don't I know I'd be sitting here watching devastating images repeat themselves.

I didn't cry, but my heart broke for them. You see those who survived and you can tell by the looks on their faces that they are thinking, "how are we going to recover?" and "where is my loved one?" Hillary Clinton spoke today on all the relief assistance we are going to be offering them. It's a sad tragedy...so many lives lost. I feel for those who lost people due to this 7.0 magnitude earthquake. It's a sign of the times.
And- since now you have me thinking about it, it's horrible that people are STILL trapped. Could you imagine being a parent who is trapped waiting for help? You'd be worried about your family the whole time, or if it was your child trapped? Geez.
It is definitely a good thing that you don't have a tv. It's difficult to watch. It's reminiscent of seeing the Katrina victims wandering around amidst the devastation. My heart goes out to them.
I've been so consumed with work/babies/changing diapers I'm like what? Oh that's crazy. I have a toddler throwing poo and an infant screaming because she's hungry and everything seems to happen at the same time. It's 100% chaos!
Whoops, hit that prematurely. Michael had to call me and tell me and all I had to say was, I gotta go, I have a situation I have to deal with right now. So if you want dinner on the table, don't call back.
It's insane. Pure insanity. I feel like a slave to my kids.
